Jordan Barsky

Jordan Barsky, MSW, RSW, is a registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Jordan currently works at SickKids in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department, where he collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop transition and discharge plans for patients and families. He conducts comprehensive psychosocial and motivational assessments for children and youth experiencing psychological and medical health concerns.

He has experience working with and coaching both the Special Olympics and wheelchair basketball teams. Jordan enjoys using movement and sport as tools to support mental wellness, drawing on the mind-body connection to foster emotional regulation, self-esteem, and overall well-being. He integrates principles of mindfulness into his practice and brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to care.

In addition to his clinical work, Jordan has held several research roles, contributing to initiatives focused on chronic disease prevention and holistic health.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys running, golfing, and basketball. He also likes watching a good TV show and exploring new restaurants around the city.
