Toddlers and Preschoolers
We provide parent consultations and developmental assessments for toddlers and preschoolers to address parents’ concens. Our evidence-based approach with families is developmental and attchment-based.

School-age Children (6-12 years)
We provide evidence-based assessment and therapy to support kids and families. School-aged kids may experience learning challenges, social difficulties, bullying, or anxiety. We offer a safe space to support your child.

Teens
Being a teen can be quite an emotional journey. Our team supports adolescents in this journey by providing assssment and therapy for various concerns, including mood and anxiety, body image, suicidal thoughts, and trouble at school or with peers.
Welcome! We are a team of compassionate Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists providing child and adolescent psychological services virtually and in-person in Vaughan, York region.
We live in a world that is increasingly becoming busier and full of stressors. Our team strives to foster a space that not only normalizes and validates our emotional journey, but also builds mindset skills that foster whole-hearted and courageous living.
At Mindful Psychology & Wellness Centre, we offer individual and group psychotherapy, psychological assessment, parent consultations, family therapy, and clinical supervision and training. Our clinicians have advanced training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Play Therapy.
We have experience working with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation, and self-esteem/ confidence issues. Our therapists also have vast experience in working with Autistic individuals, and with LGBTQ2IA+ and gender non-conforming youth.

OUR FEES
Our services are not covered by OHIP; however many insurance plans cover all or part of the costs associated with seeing a registered Clinical Psychologist, registered Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist. Many of our services are also covered by OAP. The remaining, non-reimbursed fees may be claimed as a medical expense on your tax returns. Following each visit, you will receive a receipt outlining the services.
Our fees are in line with the guidelines outlined by the Ontario Psychological Association and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Fees for psychotherapy range (depending on the clinician) between $175 and $240 per 55 min session. Costs for specific assessments (see services page) vary. Our Occupational Therapist fees are $150 per 55 min session.
