Attention Assessment
This assessment provides a comprehensive examination of the child’s executive functioning skills.
How do you know if you need this assessment?
If there are attention/ memory or impulse concerns that are observed by parents and/or teacher, it is important to better understand their roots. These may appear as if the child dawdles or becomes distracted easily. The child may also have excessive energy or have difficulty waiting their turn.
This assessment will primarily help identify if your child has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
What to expect?
Attention assessment involves examining how the child processes information, visual and auditory attention, working memory, and impulse control. It includes parent, teacher, and child clinical interviews, clinical questionnaires, and direct testing of the child’s attentional abilities.
