Amyna Kanji, BA&Sc, G. Dip (She/Her)

I earned my Bachelor of Arts & Science in Psychology and Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University in 2014, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University in 2017. I have also completed all courses and clinical work towards an MA in Clinical Psychology. Over the past 14 years, I have had the good fortune of working with a diverse client population including children, adolescents, and adults with various cognitive, medical, and neurodevelopmental needs. I have extensive experience in administering and scoring a multitude of cognitive, neuropsychological, and psycho-diagnostic assessment measures and have worked with multidisciplinary teams in both hospital and private practice settings including the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and the Jewish General Hospital Child Outpatient Psychiatry Department in Montreal. I am committed to creating a safe, warm, and non-judgmental testing environment with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity, and prioritize developing a strong rapport with all clients.

I currently work as a psychometrist/ psychoeducational consultant at the Hospital for Sick Children as well as multiple private practices in York Region. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals, in good standing.

In my spare time, I enjoy being active (e.g., dance, yoga, hiking), travelling, and trying out new restaurants.
