Lital Rotman-Gruneir, M.ADS, BCBA, Ph.D. Candidate

Lital Rotman Gruneir is a Behaviour Analyst at Mindful Kids Psychology Centre and she serves as the Director of Behavioural Services at York Region CBT. She was awarded her specialized Psychology BA from York University, her Master’s in Disability Studies from Brock University, and her BCBA. Lital is currently completing her Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in behaviour analysis. Through the evidenced-based use of applied behaviour analysis (ABA), primarily positive reinforcement, antecedent strategies, functional analysis and behaviour assessment tools, Lital has been passionately devoted to supporting children and their families.

Her primary focus is on behavioural solutions, language development and social skills programming. Lital has been practicing behaviour analysis in the GTA for over twenty years. For over a decade, Lital has been providing behavioural consultation to families, childcares and schools. Her work has included being a member of multi-disciplinary teams, developing and implementing various social skills training groups for children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Over the past four years, Lital’s specialization has broadened to include behaviour consultation services to children with and without a diagnosis which she gained working for the Every Child Belongs facet of the City of Toronto, specifically, supporting the challenging behaviours of children aged two to thirteen with various abilities and backgrounds. She is a behaviour consultant, clinical supervisor for ABA teams, a college professor and a parent herself.
